Happy New Year

Hello lovely readers! 2018 was a year that started off badly but ended on a very positive note. I tackled some personal issues that I had been avoiding for a long time. 2018 was a year for spiritual and emotional growth. I was blessed to have the opportunity to grow on a professional level as well this year. For the past 5 months, I've taken on an interim role as the team lead in my department and I've learned so much. I will find out in January if I can continue occupying the position permanently, fingers crossed! This year I have also pushed myself to start selling my Etsy crafts in person for the first time, after a friend had been suggesting it for years. I've put more effort into marketing my Etsy store and it has definitely been paying off.

I haven't written many blog posts this year compared to previous years. I'm hoping to write more often in 2019. I'm looking forward to what the year brings, and I'm sending positive vibes to you all. Remember that even if you have a bad experience, it is an opportunity to learn and grow. We are endlessly creating ourselves. Here's to a fantastic year!!

  1. Hey Melanie! I think that's super cool you kicked off with your Etsy store, I just checked it out and I think it's so cool! Do you handprint them yourself individually?! I think that's really amazing!! I used to want to be a na technician and o still do enjoy painting different designs on my nails! Just not as often as I did back in high school haha... And I didn't know you were based in Ontario!! I have a similar goal for 2019 where I can sell some stuff too either on Etsy or open my own store on my site but for stationary related things like stickers and art prints happy new year and I hope you get to accomplish many more things for your business and blog!!

    1. Hi Geraldine, thank you for your lovely comment. I do paint them individually, I find it really relaxing! I wish you success for your online ventures!! :)
