Easy Pumpkin Spice Marshmallow Treats: Perfect for Autumn

Hello friends! What better way to celebrate fall than by making delicious fall-themed treats? These pumpkin spice marshmallow treats were so easy to make, and I find the addition of the candy corn makes them so adorable. I followed the classic marshmallow treat recipe and simply threw in some pumpkin spice and food coloring. The pumpkin flavor is just right, not too overwhelming. These treats would also be great for a Halloween party.

I love candy corn!

Pumpkin Spice Marshmallow Treats Recipe

Ingredients:

Marshmallow Treats

– 1/4 cup margarine
– 5 cups of crispy rice cereal
– 4 cups of marshmallows
– 1/2 tsp pumpkin spice
– Red and yellow food coloring

Glaze Topping:

– A handful of candy corn
– Icing sugar
– Red and yellow food coloring
– 2 tbsp. of almond milk

Directions:

To make the treats, melt the marshmallows in the microwave for about 3 minutes, checking them after each minute (depending how hot your microwave is). Working quickly, mix in the pumpkin spice and food coloring (I used 3 drops of red and 12 drops of yellow). Add in the cereal and stir to coat it evenly. Place the mixture into a greased 9 X 13 dish and flatten it with a spatula.

To make the glaze, mix the icing sugar with the milk and add in 2 drops of red food coloring and 8 drops of yellow food coloring. Drizzle the glaze over the treats and while it is still sticky, place the candy corn on top. Once the treats are completely cool, cut them into squares.

Let me know if you try these! Stay tuned for another yummy fall recipe coming up on my blog in the next few weeks. Thanks for stopping by! xo
