Neutrogena RapidClear Overnight Acne Control Gel

Hi loves!! It’s been over a month since my last blog post, I can’t believe how fast the time has flown! I’ve been quite busy with spring things, that is, giving my backyard some much needed TLC. When Simon and I bought our house, the backyard was an overgrown disaster. We’ve been working hard fixing up the lawn, the gardens and the deck. We are almost done and super pleased with the results. More to come on that, but now let’s get back to what this blog post is about.

A little while ago, I popped into the drugstore since I was low on my moisturizer, and came across a Neutrogena value set containing a moisturizer, a cleanser and the RapidClear Overnight Acne Control Gel. The set was on sale for cheaper than buying the moisturizer I usually buy on it’s own, so of course I snatched it up! Unfortunately, I’m still dealing with acne and I’m getting close to 30 (I’ll be 27 in less than a month–eek!). I’m always interested in trying new products to keep my acne at bay. I have to say that I’m extremely impressed with this gel! It kind of reminds me of the Proactiv mask that you’re supposed to leave on for 10 minutes and then wash off. However I find the Proactiv mask was always hard to wash off, as it often stuck to my skin. The Neutrogena RapidClear Overnight Acne Control Gel is meant to be applied before bed on any blemishes, and left on for the whole night. In the morning, this gel washes off super easily with any face wash. It also doesn’t have a smell (unlike the Proactiv mask which smells like sulphur). I’ve been using this product for about a month and a half and my acne has improved a ton! I get much less blemishes and when I do get some, they are much smaller. The gel “dries your pimples up” and makes them much less red and swollen. If you have an unsightly zit in the evening, after using this product overnight your zit will be much less noticeable and easily covered up with a bit of concealer.

Have you tried the Neutrogena RapidClear Overnight Acne Control Gel? What is your go-to acne control product? Thanks for stopping by! xo
