Maybelline The Blushed Nudes Palette: Review and Swatches

Hello beauties! I’ve seen this cute little palette popping up everywhere: in magazines, on Instagram, and of course on YouTube. When I saw it on sale at my local Rexall I snatched it up! I’ve been trying really hard not to buy new eyeshadows lately since I’m doing a project pan, but I caved in. Everyone needs a little treat sometimes, right? I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and I’m really impressed with it. The Maybelline Blushed Nudes palette comes with twelve eyeshadows which are definitely great quality for the price. The top row contains the “blushed” nudes (pinkish shades), and the bottom row contains “true” nudes (beiges and greys). Most of the shades are shimmery which is perfect for me because I’m not a big fan of matte eyeshadows.

Here are some swatches and a look I wore using this palette:

Top row: some of the shades are quite light and that don’t show up well on my arm (you can see some shimmers but that’s it!).

Bottom row: these shades are much more pigmented!

My favorite shades in the palette are the copper in the top row (second from the right) and the brownish-grey in the bottom row (third from the right). For this look I started by applying the white shade (top row, first on the left) all over my lid as a base and to highlight my brow bone. Then I applied the copper shade all over my lid and blended the the dark pink shade (top row, first one on the right) into the outer corner.

Overall I’m very happy I got it this palette!! Thanks for stopping by! xo
