Pro-FX Quick Dry High Gloss Top Coat Review

Hello loves! I recently tried out the Pro-FX Quick Dry High Gloss top coat and was highly impressed. I had never heard of the Pro-FX brand before, but my sister spotted it while we were browsing the nail polish section at Walmart recently.

First of all, look at how huge this bottle is compared to a “regular” sized nail polish bottle! The Pro-FX Quick Dry High Gloss top coat is supposed to be a “salon size” bottle, and contains 2.5 oz! This regular size of Sally Hansen polish contains only 0.45 oz. This top coat is a perfect size for me, since I go through them quickly as I like to paint my nails at least once a week.

Here are my nails right after applying the top coat. I applied two coats of Sally Hansen Diamond Strength No Chip nail color in “Nude Shimmer” and one coat of the Pro-FX Quick Dry High Gloss top coat. There is slight bubbling on my ring finger and thumb nails, but I’m blaming that on myself since I was heavy-handed in my application of the top coat. The brush is pretty massive so it’s easy to apply a thick coat, but only a thin coat is necessary.

Here are my nails a full 5 days post polishing. As you can see, there are only minor chips on my thumb and middle finger nails. I think this this top coat did an awesome job since I did a lot of gardening and some cleaning since my manicure was applied!

Overall I’m very happy with this top coat. And the best part? It only cost $4.98 CAD!!! Have you tried this top coat yet? Thanks for reading! xo
