1- Sephora The Painter Airbrush Sponge: I'm completely in love with this sponge! I use it to apply my foundation and concealer, and I find it really helps my makeup look more natural and not cakey. I prefer using it dry rather than wet.
2- White Barn Mahogany Teakwood Scented Candle: This is the perfect fall candle! It smells like a man's cologne. I find the scent so relaxing and comforting.
3- Viva by Fergie eau de parfum spray (Avon): I love this fragrance for fall and winter! It's a sultry, stronger scent, with notes of lavender and vetiver. I find it almost smells like a feminine version of a man's cologne.
4- Bright Autumn Day PocketBac by Bath and Body Works: This hand sanitizer is so lovely! It smells like yummy cinnamon with citrus notes. I'm also a fan of the green color!

Hello loves! I have seen quite a few pictures of Sharpie manicures on Pinterest lately. Since I already own metallic Sharpies (they are so fun for crafts!) and white nail polish, I decided to give this manicure a go myself. The Sharpie drew very easily on to my nails and it took no time at all to do this design. I let the Sharpie dry, then applied a thin coat of hairspray to my nails. That sounds weird right?? I read on Pinterest that hairspray stops the Sharpie from smudging when you apply the top coat. As you can see in the pictures, my nails still smudged a bit. However, the hairspray did help because I tried applying the top coat without hairspray on my thumb and the smudging was horrible! I had to go back in with the white polish and repair it. This manicure didn't last very long because the hairspray made my top coat peel off. Overall, I probably wouldn't do this manicure again, but it was fun to try!
What are your thoughts on Sharpie manicures? Thanks for reading! xo

Here is the lip liner by itself.
In this photo I added some clear lip gloss.
This is the gloss I used, it's just a clear one from Arbonne that I had in my collection.

Hello loves! Fall 2015 is officially here!! I've already had a ton of pumpkin spice lattes, and the weather has cooled down enough for me to wear my combat boots this week. I'm looking forward to even colder days so I can bundle up in my scarves and pretty coats again! I decided to decorate a few corners of my room to celebrate this beautiful season. Some of my decor items are new from this year, while others are old pieces I've had for a while.
The smaller candles on the right are new from this year from Bath and Body Works. The larger candle was also purchased from Bath and Body Works a looooong time ago, back when Bath and Body Work's candles were from Slatkin and Co. The pumpkin and cat are from Walmart I believe. I've had them forever!
This tea light holder is from Walmart, and I've also had it for years.
What are you excited about for fall? Thanks for stopping by! xo

My first Holy Grail is the Maybelline Fit Me setting powder. This powder has never failed me. It never makes me look cake-y and keeps my skin looking matte longer than any other drug store powder I've tried. My skin is quite oily so I do need to touch up my t-zone after a full work day, especially in the warmer months. I keep an extra Maybelline Fit Me setting powder in my purse for touching up and even when I apply a second layer, my skin is still never cake-y.
The Maybelline Great Lash Lots of Lashes Mascara is my second Holy Grail. This mascara retails for $5.99 CAD which is on the cheap end, even for a drug store mascara. Don't let the low price fool you, this mascara is priceless in my opinion!! It gives me defined and very long lashes after applying two coats. My friends always ask me what mascara I'm wearing when I use it and they are always surprised when they learn how cheap it is! The formula is on the wet side but dries very quickly and is never flaky. It also wipes away from the skin super easily, which is perfect for me since I always manage to make a mess when applying it to my lower lashes. I prefer the "Lot of Lashes" version to the original version because I'm a huge fan of plastic brushes. The original version has a bristle brush which I find doesn't separate my lashes as well.
Finally, my third Holy Grail product is the Avon Ultra Luxury Brow Liner. This brow pencil glides over my brows and gives them a polished look, without being too harsh. My brows stay nice all day without fading. This pencil often goes on sale for $1.99 CAD which is a steal!

I love checkered and plaid patterns for the fall and winter seasons. My shirt is actually a men's size medium so it's slightly too big, but super comfy! I hope everyone is having a nice Saturday! xo

Geri a 20-something single girl waiting for her "New York Minute" to change her drab life into a magical happy ending. She's definitely not your typical young woman: after her mother left her father behind for another man when she was very young, Geri has had an imaginary friend. His name is J.T., and he's been around ever since! Between work mishaps and drunken nights at the bar with her girlfriends, Geri is trying to find her soulmate. She falls in love with her sweet and handsome neighbour, but unfortunately he already has a girlfriend! I really enjoyed this book and the ending was very different from other romance novels I've read.

I'm a huge fan of matte nails for the fall and winter seasons. I feel like matte nails are so chic and sophisticated! I used my L'Oreal "The Matte Velvet" topcoat to transform regular polishes into mattes. I've mentioned this topcoat before on my blog when I used it to create a matte black mani. This time I decided to go for something a little more colorful!
-Maybelline Color Show nail lacquer in "Chiffon Chic"
-Sally Hansen Nail Growth Miracle nail color in "Fearless Fog"
-L'Oreal The Magic Topcoats in "The Matte Velvet"
Happy Labour Day weekend!! xo
