OOTD: Leopard Print Cardigan

Hello loves! I recently bought an adorable leopard print cardigan from H&M and I was waiting for a cooler day to wear it. Yesterday was rainy and cool, so I figured it was the perfect day to show my new cardigan off! I wore this outfit for a casual Sunday morning brunch with my family.
Cardigan: H&M
Top: Jacob
Jeans: Bongo (really old, I've had them forever!)
Flats: Aldo
Earrings: Avon

This outfit was completely inspired from a pin by asountherdrawl.com. I honestly never would have thought to pair leopard print with pink jeans myself, but when I saw this pin I was in love!!

OOTD: Summer Maxi Dress

Hello loves! This is a dress I've had since last summer and somehow never showed it off in an ootd post yet!! I love maxi dresses because they are so versatile. For this look I dressed my maxi down with bohemian-ish beaded earrings and sandals. It would also be cute dressed up with heels and fancier jewelry, or even with a cardigan and a scarf on a cooler day.
Dress: H&M
Earrings: Suzy Shier
Sandals: Avon

My Current Bath and Body Works Obsession: Endless Weekend

Hello lovely readers! I'm a huuuuuge fan of Bath and Body Works, I seriously have to limit myself on how many products I buy when I go browsing there! I mean how many lotions and candles can a girl need? My current favorite is the Endless Weekend 24 Hour Moisture Ultra Shea Body Cream. I love everything about this lotion! The name itself is perfect, who wouldn't want an endless weekend? The picture they chose for the packaging is so dreamy. Can I please be sitting in that chair now? This lotion is scented of magnolia, mandarin and vanilla sandalwood, which I find completely enchanting. I also really like the consistency of the Ultra Shea Cream compared to Bath and Body Works' regular lotions. I find it much more moisturising, and the fragrance seems to linger for a lot longer.

What's your favorite product from Bath and Body Works? :)

OOTD: Nothing to Wear

Hello loves! I first saw a "Nothing to Wear" t-shirt on Instagram a couple of months ago and instantly wanted one! I've been really loving the graphic t-shirt trend, even if it is super cheesy. When I saw this t-shirt for sale on Forever 21's website I couldn't resist buying it. It's too adorable!!

T-shirt: Forever 21
Necklace and earrings: Forever 21
Jeans: Urban Planet
Sandals: Avon

What's your take on the graphic t-shirt trend? Thanks for stopping by! xo

NOTD: Pastel Pink!!

Hi loves! I'm a big fan of pale pink nails but it's quite hard to find light polishes that don't streak. I'm a big fan of Sally Hansen's Complete Salon Manicure line so I was hoping this polish wouldn't streak but unfortunately it did! I bought it a few months ago and only used it once because I was disappointed. However I decided to give it another try, and use a base coat first to see if it made a difference (usually I don't wear base coat... I know, I know but who has time for that?). The base coat really helped! The polish went on much more smoothly with minimal streaking.

This is a beautiful pastel pink, perfect for summer!!
Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in "Pink a Card"
Sally Hansen Insta-Dri fast dry nail color in "Clearly Quick" (I used this polish as
my base coat and top coat)

Summer 2015 Luxebox

Hello loves!! I received my Summer 2015 Luxebox earlier last week and wanted to show you what I got. As always, I'm very satisfied with the products. Luxebox is great value and super fun!

*If you don't already know, Luxebox is a service offered by a company called Loose Button. Unlike monthly boxes, Luxebox is a quarterly subscription: one box for each season!!  Full size and deluxe size samples of beauty products (including skin, nails, fragrance, etc.) are mailed to your door for a low price, giving you the chance to try products out before actually buying them. Find them here: http://www.loosebutton.com/

Bioderma Sébium H2O Micelle Solution
I've heard quite the buzz about micellar water cleansers so I'm super excited to try this out!
Ombrelle SPF 60 Complete Hypoallergenic Lotion
I'm really obsessed with sunscreen on hot summer days. I always apply a generous amount in the morning and I like to carry sunscreen in my bag so I can re-apply throughout the day. This little bottle is the perfect size to toss into my bag! :)
BareMinerals Lash Domination Mascara
I haven't tried many products from BareMinerals and I do love to try new mascaras so I was happy to see this in my Luxebox!
Fruits & Passion Aloe Face Mask
This is a sheet kind of face mask. I've never tried a sheet mask before, or a mask from Fruits & Passion for that matter!
Barefoot Venus Argan Dry Body Oil
This is so cute! I think I'll probably use it for my cuticles and elbows at night. It smells like delicious lemon squares!
Model Co Shine Ultra Lip Gloss
I love how this comes with a little built-in mirror for application! This shade is called "Fairy Floss". It's such a gorgeous pink and it smells like candy!
Deborah Lippmann Luxurious Nail Color
I'm a nail polish addict so I was happy to see this! Deborah Lippmann is quite pricey so I probably wouldn't go out and buy it myself. This shade is called "Groove is in the Heart". I love how Luxebox coordinated the lip gloss and nail polish ;)

Thanks for stopping by! This will be my last Luxebox post for a while because I've actually unsubscribed!! Although I love Luxebox, I realized I just have SO MUCH MAKEUP so I want to try to use up my stash before adding more to it! I may re-subscribe in the future, or maybe once I've made a significant dent in my stash I'll sign up for a different beauty box! :)

Casual OOTD: Floral Crop Top

Hi loves! I purchased this pretty floral crop top from H&M at the end of winter and I couldn't wait for warmer weather to roll around so I could wear it! It's semi-sheer but that's fine for weekend wear in my opinion. I paired it with high-waisted black skinnies because I don't want to show too much skin. I really love how flowy this top is compared to other tight crop tops I've seen!
Top: H&M
Jeans: Urban Planet
Sandals: American Eagle

Weekend Haul!

Hello loves!! I did a bit of shopping this past weekend and I wanted to share my finds with you! I didn't go too crazy, I just picked up a few bits that I know I'll actually get a lot of use from. It's been a really long time since I've posted a haul on my blog, so I hope you enjoy :)
Vienna High-waisted skinny jeans from Urban Planet

I already own a black pair and I wear them all the time so I wanted to get a second pair for a bit of variety!

Avon 7-in-1 Gel Polish in "Dazzle Pink" and "Limoncello", Avon Extra Last concealer in "Fair"

I blogged about both these products before so you might already know how much I love them! The 7-in-1 polish line just released some new shades so I picked up these gorgeous babies!! The extra last concealer was on sale, and since I'm already running low on my tube I decided to re-purchase it.
Bath and Body Works goodies: Ultra Shea body cream in "Beautiful Day" and "Endless Weekend", Shea and Vitamin A body lotion in "Mad About You", Fine Fragrance Mist in "Mad About You"

I only went in to Bath and Body Works for the spray at first, but that store always has such amazing deals that it's hard to only buy one product!! I go through body lotion super fast so I figured a few more couldn't hurt.
Ankle booties from Dexflex Comfort from Payless Shoe Source

These were on sale for $25, and I had a coupon for my birthday month so I only paid $21 with the tax! What a steal! I'm going to save them for the fall.

Thanks for reading! xo

Book Review: Remains of Innocence by J. A. Jance

Hi loves! My latest read was Remains of Innocence by J. A. Jance, a delightful and gripping mystery novel. This story takes place in Brisbee, Arizona. When Junior Dowdle, a sweet disabled man, goes missing, the citizens of Brisbee are desperate to find him. When his murdered body is found in a cavern, everyone is devastated. Sheriff Joanna Brady has a big case to solve. Who would want to harm Junior? And why were dead, tortured pets found in the same cavern as him?

On the other side of the country, Liza Matchett, a waitress living hand to mouth, uncovers a small fortune in her deceased mother's house while cleaning it out. Liza is filled with mixed emotions: rage that her mother kept this fortune hidden for so many years, and relief because this money will really come in handy to cover the costs of cleaning and renovating the old house. During her mother's funeral, a strange man warns Liza that "the bread truck drivers never forgive or forget". Who is this man and what is he talking about? Liza's estranged father used to be a bread truck driver but what does this have to do with anything? Liza will soon find out! Hours later, her mother's house is burned down and her landlady is murdered. Liza is frightened and begins a journey to Brisbee, where her estranged brother Guy Machett resides.

Sheriff Brady has barely begun working on the Junior Dowdle case when another shocking murder takes place in Brisbee. Notifying the next of kin becomes next to impossible and Sheriff Brady must work very quickly to solve the murders before more people are hurt.

This book was so fun to read! It had just the right amounts of suspense and gore. Have you read it yet? Thanks for stopping by! :)

Welcome June!

Hello loves! It's already June, we are six months into 2015!! June is a big month for me because it includes a lot of birthdays: my boyfriend's birthday, my mom's birthday, and my birthday! This year I will be turning 25! I'm really excited! My boyfriend has just finished law school and will be starting his articling in July, so I feel like it's "a new step" in our lives. Hopefully we will be buying a house of our own next summer! Wahoo! Here are a few lifestyle pictures to say goodbye to May :)
Blue skies and finally leaves on the trees! :)
Starbucks and a good book, what's not to love?
Cat nap :)
One of my favorite May flowers!
Lazy Sundays with bae!

Wishing everyone an exciting June!! Are there any big events in June for you? Thanks for stopping by!
