NOTD: Avon Gel Finish 7-in-1 Nail Enamel in "Lavender Sky"

Hello loves! I purchased a few of Avon's Gel Finish 7-in-1 nail enamels (they were having an amazing sale!). I've always wanted to try a "gel without the UV light" type of nail polish, to see what the hype was all about. I'm really impressed with the formula! This polish has a thicker formula than regular polishes. My nails were completely opaque after two coats, and super glossy! Although the polish was thick, it dried very quickly.

- Avon Gel Finish 7-in-1 Nail Enamel in "Lavender Sky"
-Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Nail Color in "Clearly Quick"

The 7 benefits of this polish are as follows: shine, gel  finish, vivid color, base coat, top coat, protection, and strength. In my opinion this polish actually has all these benefits! I added a quick coat of Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri polish for good measure, but a top coat really isn't necessary. My nails have not chipped AT ALL (I've done the dishes a few times!) since I painted them on Saturday, 3 days ago.

Have you tried a "gel without the UV light" polish? Thanks for reading! xo

Review: Neutrogena All-in-One Make-up Removing Cleansing Wipes

Hi loves! I've used up this pack of Neutrogena All-in-One Make-up Removing Cleansing Wipes (what a mouthful!) and wanted to review them. They are honestly the best wipes I've ever tried, hands down.

These wipes removed all of my makeup in one swipe, and left my face feeling super refreshed without any residue.  Since I've been using wipes on an almost daily basis to remove my makeup before washing my face, I feel like my skin has had fewer breakouts. I used to be too lazy to actually remove my makeup before hoping in the shower, and I would just hope my face wash alone could do the trick. I've learned this isn't a good idea because most face wash can't completely remove makeup (and leftover makeup can clog pores!). The Neutrogena All-in-One Make-up Removing Cleansing Wipes don't have a particular scent to them. They are a teensy bit pricey compared to other wipes but SO worth it! I will definitely be buying them again. Thanks for reading! xo

NOTD: Pastel Blue

Hi loves! Spring is officially here (however it's still FREEZING in my area) so it's time to rock pastel nail colors!! I picked up this gorgeous pastel blue shade from Sally Hansen the other day and finally got around to using it :)

-Sally Hansen Insta-Dri nail color in "Set Sail" (2 coats)
-Love & Beauty by Foever 21 nail color in "Blue/Silver Glitter" (1 coat)
-Sally Hansen Insta-Dri nail color in "Clearly Quick" (1 coat)

I love, love LOVE the Sally Hansen Insta-Dri polishes. They are SO affordable and they last a long time on my nails without chipping. Plus, it barely takes me any time at all to get my mani done since they really do dry instantly! Thanks for reading! xo

NEW HAIR!!! Feathered Balayage!!

Hi loves! Today I had a hair appointment and I dyed my hair again! I wanted something more natural than the purple, and I didn't want ombre again. My hair guy calls this "feathered balayage". He dyed some sections three shades lighter than my natural brown. It kinda looks like ombre in some of these pictures but when I section the hair you can see there is still a lot of brown inside, the lighter color doesn't go all the way through my ends. He said it will look cool when I curl it. Either way I'm really happy with it, I wanted a change and I love how it turned out!

Laura Mercier Foundation Primer Review

Hello loves! I received a sample of the Laura Mercier Foundation Primer in my January Ipsy bag. I've been using it almost everyday ever since I first tried it!! I've only gotten into the habit of using a foundation primer maybe about a year ago, so I haven't had the chance to try out a whole bunch of brands, but I'm REALLY loving this one. I'm seriously considering purchasing the full size when I run out of my little sample!

The Laura Mercier Foundation Primer doesn't have a particular smell. It's water-based so the texture is super silky and smooth. It instantly absorbs into the skin to create an even base for makeup application. After applying this primer, my foundation and concealer glide on. I'm in love!!

What's your favourite foundation primer? Thanks for reading! xo

EOTD and OOTD: Dreaming of Spring ♥

Hello loves! March is here, and spring is in the air! There is still snow on the ground BUT the days are a bit longer and the weather is slowly getting milder! I'm so excited to soon be able to wear something other than my winter boots. Today I wore a super spring-y pastel blue eyeshadow from my Hello Kitty "Mon Amour" palette. If you follow me on YouTube, you already know that I'm trying to pan that palette by the end of 2015! I still have ways to go, but one day at a time, right? :) The blue is very subtle, so I could get away with it at the office.

NOTD: Ciaté Paint Pot in "Iced Frappé"

Hello loves! The other day I was browsing Sephora and I quickly found myself ogling the nail polish stand. I decided to pick up a few polishes (not like I need more...). I'm addicted, what can I say?? I purchased a few of Ciaté's Mini Paint Pots, including "Iced Frappé".
This is such a gorgeous color for spring! It's a nude with just a touch of a lilac hue to it. Since it's nude it is also perfect for the office.
I love Ciaté's nail brush, it's flat and lets you cover your entire nails in a few swipes. This polish is also quite opaque, as I only applied two coats to get it be the same shade as in the bottle. I've had it on for two days now, and so far no chips are in sight. We'll see how long it keeps up!!

Are you a fan of Ciaté's Paint Pots? Thanks for reading! xo
