Delon Intense Moisturizing Mango Body Butter Review

Hello loves! Today I want to review a body product for you, it is the Delon Intense Moisturizing Mango Body Butter. I actually keep this product in a drawer at my desk at work and use it for moisturizing my hands. As you can see I really like it, I've used most of it up!

This was the first time I've tried anything from the Delon brand (and the first time I heard about it!). I picked up this product on impulse because it was on clearance at Bed Bath & Beyond. I'm really glad I did! It's the PERFECT consistency for a body butter: nice and thick but not greasy. It really keeps your hands smooth so you don't feel like you constantly need to re-apply it. The mango scent is amazing and not too strong. And.... IT'S MADE IN CANADA!! The Delon Laboratory is in Montreal :)

Have you tried this brand before? Thanks for reading! xo

Holiday NOTD: A Blue Christmas

Hello loves! I recently bought a ton of Christmas nail art goodies from EBay. I love nail tattoos and stickers, what a cute and easy way to make your nails extra festive! For these blue Christmas nails I used nail tattoos and some glitter polish for an accent nail.
The nail tattoos are so easy to apply and last for days!

Check EBay if would like to purchase some of these nail tattoos
yourself. There are so many designs available!
Polishes used:
-China Glaze Nail Lacquer in "Shower Together"
-Love And Beauty by Forever 21 glitter polish (the polish has no specific name)
-Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in "Clearly Quick"

I'm planning on featuring many more Christmas nails on my blog so stay tuned!! Thanks for reading! xo

Revlon Corlorstay 24 Hrs Foundation Review

Hi loves! Since the weather has been getting colder I've been feeling the need to use products with more coverage on my face. During the summer I like to keep it simple with the bare minimum: just concealer and powder. However lately I feel like I need something more to really even out my skin. I've been using the Revlon Corlorstay 24 Hrs foundation for about a month now, and I'm really impressed with it!
This foundation has a thicker consistency and amazing coverage. It's also build-able for the stubborn areas, like the dark circles under my eyes! I like to use a setting powder with it, and I've been using the Maybelline Fit Me powder.
I apply the foundation with a regular foundation brush, then
add a thin layer of setting powder with a kabuki brush.
Throughout the day this foundation does not fade or make my skin oily. It also doesn't get cakey around the bridge of my nose where my glasses sit (many foundations/concealers give me issues in that area), so that's a big plus for me! Another thing I love about this product is that a little goes a long way, so the bottle will last me forever!

Have you tried this foundation? Thanks for reading! xo

NOTD: Matte Black Nails ♥

Hello my lovelies. I purchased the L'Oreal Paris The Magic Topcoats in "The Matte Velvet" a little while ago and I've been loving it. Last night I had the brilliant idea to use it over black nails and I'm so happy with how it turned out! I think matte nails are perfect for fall and winter!

Polishes used for this look:
-L'Oreal Paris The Magic Topcoats in "The Matte Velvet"
-Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear in "Black Out"

What I love about this topcoat is how fast it dries: as soon as your nails turn matte your manicure is completely dry. Some topcoats are dry to the touch after a few minutes but if you're not careful your nails can still smudge. However that is definitely not the case for The Matte Velvet! Once it's dry to the touch, you're good to go!

Are you a fan of matte nails? Thanks for reading! xo

Book Review: In The Blood by Lisa Unger

I really enjoyed this gripping story! This is a "thriller" type of novel with plot twist after plot twist. The story follows Lana's adventures at college. All her life, Lana has been hiding from her past by building a new life for herself and building walls around herself. She is the quiet, shy girl who blends into crowds. When her friend and flatmate Beck goes missing, all clues point to Lana. Lana couldn't be involved in Beck's disappearance, could she? Lana would never hurt anyone. Is it  more than a simple a coincidence that this is the second disappearance at Lana's college, and she has been somehow involved in both the victim's lives?

Lana has been babysitting Luke, a troubled boy she seems to relate to. Luke starts a scavenger hunt with Lana, which takes her mind off her problems. However, as she finds each clue she wonders if this is really just a child's game, or something more? The clues lead to secrets in Lana's past. How could Luke, an 8 year old boy, know about her? And how much does he know?

I don't want to give anything else away so all I'll say is nothing is as it seems in this novel. Each character holds many secrets and are connected to each other in ways you'd never expect!

Vasanti BrightenUp! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator Review

Hello loves! I've been using this Vasanti BrightenUp! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator for the past two months and I'm really liking it! It's an exfoliating cleanser made with micro-crystals. They are so fine and I feel like they really penetrate my skin to get all the day's dirt and impurities out. This cleanser also has papaya enzymes in it to brighten the skin. I use it 3 times a week, at night after using my Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash. Since I've been using it I found my skin has been clearer. I do get blackheads but I've been getting a lot less pimples! The formula is 99% natural and made in Canada (woohoo!).

NOTD: Sally Hansen Lustre Shine in Lava

Hi lovies! Have you heard of Sally Hansen's Lustre Shine nail polishes?? They are amazing! Depending on the lighting the polish seems to be different colors. I'm wearing "Lava", an orange-y shade that looks pink in bright light. In low lighting it looks copper. The polish is basically very fine glitter, and I applied three coats to make is opaque. I need to get my hands on more shades from this collection!!
