Review: Pacifica Eye Liner in Gun Metal

Hi lovies! I received this Pacifica eye liner in my September Ipsy bag and it's great! I was excited to try it out since I've never heard of the Pacifica brand before. After a quick peep on their website I learned they are 100% vegan and cruelty-free! They offer a huge range of cosmetics and their prices are really reasonable.

This eye liner glided on easily and didn't smudge all day. It also sharpens well which is a MUST for pencil eye liners! I've had some that crumble a bit when you sharpen them and if you're not careful the crumbly bits can end up falling in your eye!

Have you heard of this brand before? Check out their website here. Thanks for reading! xo

NOTD: Gold and Purple

Hi loves :) I just wanted to share these simple fall nails with you. I love gold polish for the fall (or any metallic colour!). I didn't want a boring one-colour mani so I added a purple accent nail and some glitter!
Polishes used (from left):
-Sally Hansen Triple Shine nail polish in "Vanity Flair"
-Sephora by OPI nail colour in "I Only Shop Vintage"
-Love and Beauty by Forever 21 nail colour gold glitter (polish doesn't have a name)
-Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear nail colour in "Invisible"

What's your favourite polish to wear in the fall? Thanks for reading! xo

Annabelle Instaglam Brow Design + Fix Review

Hello lovies :) Recently I've been bored with using powder to fill in my brows and I wanted to try something new. I was browsing the makeup aisle and the Annabelle Instaglam Brow Design + Fix product caught my eye. I've been using it for about a month now and I absolutely adore it!
The product has two sides, the first being the "design" side which is a basically a marker. It works wonderfully and it's so quick and easy to draw on where you want your brows to look fuller. The other side is the "fix" side, which is a mascara-type wand with product to hold your brows in place. I find the best way to use this product is to use the "design" side and let it dry, then go over it with just a touch of the "fix" side.
The end result looks great and literally lasts all day without fading! It washes away easily with soap and water without staining your skin. I definitely recommend this; it's so much more fun to draw on your brows than to use powder!!

NOTD: Back To Basics

Hello loves! If you're a regular reader of my blog you know how much I love funky bright nails. However, occasionally I do like to rock a simple nail look. Everyone needs a break sometimes right?? This is my favourite polish for when I want to get back to the basics:
ACO nail polish in "Mother of Pearl"

This colour is such a pretty iridescent pink. I love it because it's so subtle. It almost looks like clear polish, but when it catches the light you can see the hint of pink. I usually only apply one coat and don't bother with top coat when I wear it.

Do you have a favourite basic nail polish? Thanks for reading! xo

Little Weekend Haul

Hello loves! Last week was quite stressful so I decided to treat myself to a few goodies this past weekend. Retail therapy always helps, right? I bought a few things from Ardene, Sally Beauty Supply and Lush :)
I picked up some bubble bars at Lush. I don't remember their names, but the orange one smells
like oranges (duh!) and patchouli. The white one has a dried flower in the middle and smells like lavender. Very relaxing!!
At Sally Beauty I found this cute pink pumice stone on sale, and I also picked up this beautiful fall nail polish (like I don't have enough already!). It's called "Seduce Me" by China Glaze.
The rest of the items are from Ardene. They had cute winter mittens at 2 for $10.00!! I bought these pretty snowflake ones and these black fuzzy ones.
Who doesn't love new socks?? These were 4 for $15.00 :)
Ardene has super adorable pyjama sets!!! I love having cute matching pjs in the colder months.
The top says "I cat sleep!". How puny.

Hope you enjoyed my little haul! Thanks for reading! xo

Bed Head Control Freak Serum Review

Hi loves! Since I had my hair done I've been wearing it down A LOT more (seriously like 99% more... I used to wear it down once in a blue moon!). My hair is pretty straight naturally. If I let it air dry it may have a few kinks in it but overall it's not too bad. That is, until the humidity hits it!! My hair gets super frizzy and sticks up all over the place! I decided to try out this Control Freak Serum by Bed Head and I'm very impressed with it!
The serum is a pale green goop with tiny shimmers in it. It smells really yummy, like a type of candy!

The serum claims to have anti-frizz and straightening properties and I really believe it lives up to that! I rubbed a small amount of product between my hands and rubbed it into the ends of my hair, then combed it through. My hair was considerably less frizzy throughout the day and it smelled great!

Have you tried this product?? Thanks for reading! xo
