Hi loves :) I've seen Kracie Happy Kitchen food-making kits all over YouTube. The kits are from Japan. They are sold for a very good price on Amazon so I decided to buy some and try them out myself! I had a ton of fun making them!!
This is the doughnut kit. It comes with different flavours of powdered doughnut mix, icing mix, sprinkles, a spatula and the doughnut mold.
To make the doughnuts, you follow the box's directions, adding water to the powder to create the different flavours. This kit did not need microwaving, since the dough held it's shape on it's own.
Ta-da!!! Not as cute as the box, is it?? Haha it also didn't taste as good as it looks...
It wasn't HORRIBLE, but it wasn't quite delicious either!
Here is the completed product of the fast-food burger joint kit, complete with fries, ketchup and a mini-soda! This kit did require microaving to "cook" the meat, buns and fries.
Close up of the burgers. The meat part tasted and smelled like a meat loaf! The fries tasted like real fries but weren't quite as crispy.
Overall, these kits are AWESOME!! I will definitely be buying more in the future. They are perfect to do on a boring rainy day. It took me about 40 mins to finish each kit. I just like to take my time and try to make the finished product resemble the box as much as possible.
Hi loves! When I saw the L'Oreal Voluminous Miss Manga mascara at my local drugstore I HAD TO HAVE IT!! I mean look how cute it is! I'm a total sucker for packaging!
I love the pink chrome!! ♥
The brush is amazing, it reaches every lash!
I'm SUPER impressed with this mascara. I have used the regular L'Oreal Voluminous mascara before and I consider it a great staple mascara. The Voluminous Miss Manga has a special extra pop, it makes my lashes so full and long. If I add a thin line of black eyeliner, my eyes look huge, just like a manga character! This mascara lasts all day long without flaking. I definitely recommend it!
Have you tried this mascara yet?? Thanks for reading! xo
Hi loves!! I'm super excited to share this outfit with you!! I recently purchased some acid wash style skinny jeans from Ardene and I am IN LOVE!!!
Top: George by Walmart (haha YES! It was really cheap too! I've shown it in a previous outfit, here)
Sandals: Call It Spring (I've been wearing these a ton lately!)
I bought these jeans on impulse but it was a great decision! I felt so happy when I was wearing them (ok so I sound like a shopaholic... oopsies!). They have just the right amount of stretch and they are so comfy! Plus I find the acid wash print slimming! They are full length skinny jeans, I just cuffed them so my sandals would show more.
Do you like acid wash jeans?? Thanks for reading!! xo
Hi loves! I recently purchased a beautiful glitter polish from Ardene, and I had to share it with you!
"Confetti Concoction" by A.Co by Ardene ; "On A Trip" by Wet n Wild Megalast
Isn't it a beaut??
I feel like this type of "confetti" glitter is just perfect for summer! I paired it with this pretty violet from Wet n Wild, but it would look fabulous with any bright summer shade. I also wanted to mention I've had this mani on since Thursday night and so far I only have two very small chips!! The Ardene glitter has amazing staying power!
Are you a big fan of glitter polish like me?? Thanks for reading! xo
Hi loves!! I just wanted to share another outfit of the day with you. It's been REALLY hot lately so on the weekends I've been wearing shorts and tank tops, the bare minimal! Yes, I'm late posting this late (as usual). This was my outfit to shop at the mall this past Saturday.
Tank top: Julz + James
Bracelet: I made it!!
Sandals: Call It Spring
Photo credits go to my boyfriend who helped me take pictures out in the sun. I should wear sunglasses eh? Look at that squint!!
Hi loves!! I spent some time at my family's cottage this past weekend, and I decided to share my typical cottage ootd with you. It's usually pretty hot during the day so I tend to stick to shorts and a tank top. At night it can get quite chilly, so I like to bring a sweater along. Here is my outfit:
Tank top: Suzy Shier
(my feet are bare because that's usually how they are at the cottage!!)
