Hello beauties 🙂 I love trying out new mascaras, and I recently used up two tubes: Maybelline’s The Mega Plush Volum’ Mascara and Covergirl’s Clump Crusher By Lashblast.
First let me discuss Maybelline’s The Mega Plush Volum’ Mascara:
The brush is large and made of regular mascara-brush bristles. The formula is on the wetter side, which is the formula I prefer. However, since this mascara is supposed to be “free of heavy waxes” it seems to me like it lacks something. My lashes are long and voluminous but they are missing that wow-factor.
Moving on to Covergirl’s Clump Crusher By Lashblast mascara:
This mascara has a plastic brush, which I prefer to the bristle brushes. The formula is on the dryer side but I found it did a better job at separating my lashes. The mascara lived up to its name: I had no clumps!!
Both mascaras were okay on their own but I used them together to see the effect they would give. I loved it! Each formula made up for what the other formula lacked.
I applied one coat of the Mega Plush Volum’ Mascara to my top and bottom lashes, then added one coat of the Clump Crusher mascara to my top lashes only. My lashes were voluminous and very long! Using both mascaras together definitely gave me the wow-factor I was missing!
