Review: Rimmel London Stay Glossy Lipgloss

Hello loves :) Here is just a quick review of Rimmel London's Stay Glossy lipgloss for you!

Rimmel London Stay Glossy lipgloss in "Endless Summer"
This lipgloss has a standard fuzzy brush.
I love the colour!!

The colour I bought is "Endless Summer", a dark pink with brown undertones. It has very pretty light pink shimmers in it but my camera isn't picking them up (I used my cell phone camera #busted). I absolutely love Rimmel London lipglosses. This product isn't sticky and it has a nice smell, a bit floral (but I am horrible at describing smells so don't quote me on that!! It smells good!). What is special about this gloss is that it claims to last up to 6 hours. I was super impressed with it, it really does last a long time!! I put some on and ate a meal--would you believe my lips "stayed glossy"?? Try it yourself, you will be amazed!! :)

Winter Work OOTD: Faux-Leather Skirt ♥

Hello loves :) Here is an outfit I wore to work a little while ago. The skirt is a little short and maybe this outfit isn't "dressy" enough for some work places, but my bosses aren't picky as long as I don't wear jeans (except on casual Fridays of course!). I'm really grateful for that because I don't know if I would like to wear dress shirts EVERYDAY. Sometimes it's nice to wear a tank top and a cardigan!! Anyway, let's get to the outfit:
Tank top: Jules & James
Cardigan: Old Navy
Skirt: Dynamite
Tights: Calvin Klein

I LOVE this skirt! I got it on sale at Dynamite during the Boxing Day sales. It's super comfortable!!

Pink Hair, Don't Care!!

Hello loves :) I received this Colorsmash Hair Shadow a long time ago in one of my Luxeboxes and I finally had the guts to try it! I've heard a lot about hair chalk (as I like to call it). What a fun concept, you can have crazy coloured strands of hair for the day and they simply wash out at night. I wore my Hair Shadow to work (on casual Friday), here's what it looked like:
Coloursmash Hair Shadow in "Cosmopolitan"

The directions for the ColorSmash Hair Shadow are: smash it on, seal with spray, wash it out. Hmmmm, smash it on? I've heard of people rubbing their hair directly against the product but that method wasn't very effective since the product is in a little pot (some companies make their "hair chalk" in crayon format). I tried using my fingers to apply the product but it was messy! The best way in my opinion is to use a makeup brush. That way you can apply the colour with precision. Just keep adding more product to brighten the colour.
I just used this flat shadow brush.

The second Step is "Seal with Spray". I sprayed on some hairspray after the application but it seemed to make the colour fade! I would recommend just taking the Colorsmash product with you and touching up as needed. Mine was still pretty vibrant after a full 9-5 day's work. I had dinner plans in the evening so I touched it up a little before going. When I got home from dinner I washed my hair as usual and no traces of the product remained.

Overall I loved this product!! It's really easy to use and gives a fun pop to your everyday hairstyles. Happy hair colouring and thanks for reading! xo

HOTD: Leopard Print Turban Headband

Hello loves! I've seen tons of ladies rocking the "turban style" headband this past while so I decided to join in and purchase one. This type of headband is extremely cute and perfect for cold weather, since it covers most of the surface of your ears!
I like to wear mine with a basic ponytail. I purchased it from Ebay for a really good deal, click here to get yourself one!! It's really good quality-a thick and durable fabric. Plus how can you say no to leopard print??

So what do you think about this type of headband?? Thanks so much for reading! xo

NOTD: Complimentary Colours

Hello loves! Here is a simple but really pretty nail look I wanted to share with you. I painted my nails complimentary colours: purple and yellow. The bright yellow really makes them pop!!
(This little owl actually has lipgloss inside!)

The polishes I used are Sally Hansen's Diamond Strength Nail Colour in "Save the Date", Sally Hansen's Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear Nail Colour in "Mellow Yellow" and Quo by Orly Nail Polish in "Mega Canary". "Mega Canary" is a beautiful fine yellow glitter polish. I think it would looks amazing combined with an orange polish for a summer look!

First Impressions: Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser Review

Hello loves :) I've seen the Maybelline "Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser" all over Instagram and Youtube so I decided to pick it up and try it out! I used it this morning, here is my first impression! **WARNING** Close up photos of my pores will follow!!
The packaging is VERY cute, the minty-blueish and pink colours really pop. The product
itself is a clear gel and feels similar to Vaseline, but slightly less greasy.
In this photo my skin is bare, the only product I have on is Proactiv Repairing Lotion to moisturise.
This is the area of my face where I find my pores the most noticeable.
In this photo I have applied a decent layer of the Instant Pore Eraser (not too thin, not too thick).
Do you see a difference?? I guess the gel kinda fills your pores but I didn't see a major change.
In this photo I have applied a thin layer of my Marcelle BB cream.
My pores look a bit better but are still very visible.
In these two last photos I have added my Maybelline Fit Me powder. My pores look much better but they are STILL visible. The improvement seems to be due to the powder, not the pore eraser!!!

Overall, I was not impressed with this product at all... If I can reduce the look of my pores with my powder what is the point of this extra step?? I was disappointed, but I do LOVE LOVE LOVE Maybelline overall. I adore their Fit Me line and I love every single one of their mascaras. The Instant Pore Eraser was just not a hit for me.

Have you tried this product yet?? I hope it worked for you!! Thanks for reading! xo
