Hi everyone! I’ve had many questions about this look, so here is my how-to!! It’s honestly super easy and only takes minutes to do π I wear it whenever I’m in a rush in the morning and don’t have time to straighten or curl my hair.
The finished look ^-^
Start by creating a deep side part.
Next section off a two inch piece of hair. If desired, you could
section off more hair to create a bigger braid π
Gather the rest of your hair into a ponytail and secure it with an elastic.
Wrap the ponytail tail around itself to create a bun. Secure with more elastics.
If desired, you could skip this step and wear your hair in a ponytail π
Braid the section you left out. Just a regular three-section braid,
no fancy-french braiding required!!
Using a bobby pin, secure the braid to your head.
Depending how long your hair is, you may need more bobby pins to make the look neater.
I tuck the extra hair under my bun by securing it in the same elastic. I also add a
second bobby pin to smooth everything down. Add some hairspray if desired
to prevent flyaways and make your updo last all day!!
And you’re finished!!
