Fall Edition Luxebox!!

Hi everyone! My Fall Edition Luxebox came in the mail yesterday and I'm thrilled with its contents!! If you haven't heard of Luxebox, let me briefly explain: Luxebox is a beauty subcription service offered by Loose Button.  For a small fee, you receive deluxe-size samples (similar to travel-size products, not tiny one-use products) as well as full size products completety customized to you after filling out a beauty profile.  Luxebox isn't a monthly subscription, it's a seasonal subscription.  The box contains more items than other beauty boxes (7-8 instead of 4-5) since it doesn't come as often, and the company often emails you about special offers you will have access to as a member. Currently it's only offered in Canada, but they are working on expanding their business!  Check them out here.

Until recently, Luxebox used to be a monthly service but they just changed it to a quaterly service.  I'm so impressed with all the changes!!  I've sometimes heard other beauty bloggers and youtubers mention they felt the items they received in other beauty services weren't tailored to them. This is definitely not the case for Luxebox! The items I received are products I can't wait to try!

The box is very sturdy and can be re-used for storage.  The older
version of the box was black and made out of thinner cardboard.

This enveloppe contained the product information card, with a customized monogram!!
The card wasn't in an enveloppe before.  What a nice touch!!

The tissue paper was replaced by a cloth.  How fancy!!

Marcelle BB Cream:
I was SO thrilled when I saw this!!I've been wanting to try a BB cream for a while now.
I used some this morning, and so far so good.  The texture was light and
the product did a good job envening out my skin tone ^-^

Cute loofah by Loose Button :)

Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips:
This product is also full sized!! I've tried tese strips before and
I love them.  They are long lasting and easy to apply.

KMS California Add Volume Volumizing Spray:
I've never heard of this product before but it looks promising!!

Vichy ProEven Daily Dark Spot Corrector:
This product claims to help treat acne scars.  Once I try it
out I will review it! :)

"Lady Million" fragrance by Paco Rabanne:
I LOVE this adorable mini bottle!!  I haven't worn this
fragrance yet, but I've given it a whiff: it's sweet yet spicy, very interesting!!

I also receied a Vichy shower gel for men, which I gave to my boyfriend (I forgot to photograph it).  If you aren't subscribed to Luxebox yet, I highly reccomend it!! :)  Thank you for reading!! xo

Easy Braided Updo Tutorial!!

Hi everyone! I've had many questions about this look, so here is my how-to!! It's honestly super easy and only takes minutes to do :) I wear it whenever I'm in a rush in the morning and don't have time to straighten or curl my hair.

The finished look ^-^

Start by creating a deep side part.

Next section off a two inch piece of hair.  If desired, you could
section off more hair to create a bigger braid :)

Gather the rest of your hair into a ponytail and secure it with an elastic.

Wrap the ponytail tail around itself to create a bun.  Secure with more elastics.
If desired, you could skip this step and wear your hair in a ponytail :)

Braid the section you left out.  Just a regular three-section braid,
no fancy-french braiding required!!

Using a bobby pin, secure the braid to your head.

Depending how long your hair is, you may need more bobby pins to make the look neater.
I tuck the extra hair under my bun by securing it in the same elastic.  I also add a
second bobby pin to smooth everything down.  Add some hairspray if desired
to prevent flyaways and make your updo last all day!!

And you're finished!!

I hope this tutorial helped you! Thank you for reading :) xo
