BVLGARI Omnia Crystalline Fragrance

Hello everyone!!  I was shopping at Sephora earlier this week and the cashier added a little fragrance sample to my bag at the checkout.  It was the BVLGARI Omnia Crystalline eau de toilette, designed by Alberto Morillas.    How exciting!!  I love trying out new scents (after a little research I discovered that this fragrance was lauched in 2005, but it is a new scent for me!)

I've been wearing it for a few days now, and I really love it!  It is definitely a great scent for spring and summer: it's light, fresh, and has a delectable fruity aroma with undertones of musk.  The fruitiness gives it a playful side, while the musk gives it a sexy side.  I really enjoy that the muskiness is kept low; strong musky perfumes are very overwhelming in my opinion.  This scent is a must if you haven't already owned it/tried it!!

Yves Rocher Arnica Hand Cream Review

Hello lovelies!!  A few months ago I decided to sign up for Yves Rocher's loyalty card.  It is free to join  and Yves Rocher has some really fabulous offers!  I have been taking advantage of their offers and  trying out new products.  The product I will be reviewing today is the Arnica Essential "2 in 1 Hand and Nail Fortifying Cream".

In brief, I love this product!! I'm already on my second tube.  This cream has the perfect consistency: it gives instant relief to dry hands and does not make them greasy.  It absorbs very quickly into the skin.  The cream also has a very subtle smell, so it's perfect for the workplace.  I rate this product 5 out of 5!

Have you ever tried it? :)

FOTD and OOTD: Casual Spring Look no2 !!

Hello everyone!! Today I went to the mall with my friend to celebrate being done exams.  I decided to wear false lashes; we were celebrating after all!

Products used:

Clockwise, from bottom left:
-Tweezerman Eyelash Curler
-Ardell False Lashes in "116 Black"
-Cover Girl TruBlend pressed powder in "2 Translucent Light"
-Sephora Bronze Goddess mini palette (I believe that's what it's called, I bought it over two years ago and threw away the little box.  I used the second color from the left in the bottom row to fill in my brows)
-Mac Mineralize Satinfinish SPF 15 Foundation in "NW20"
-Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion
-Mac Eyeshadow in "Moleskin"
-Avon Perfect Wear Eyewriter Liquid Eyeliner in "Evening Black"
-Mac Eyeshadow in "Charcoal Brown"
-Palladio Baked Eyeshadow in "Champagne"
-Maybelline New York Great Lash Lots of Lashes Mascara in "Blackest Black"
-Ardell Lash Grip Lash Glue For Strip Lashes in "Clear"
-Mary Kay Blush in "Apricot Breeze"

Brushes used:

 From left to right:
-Coastal Scent Powder Brush
-Coastal Scents Blush Brush
-Sigma SS224
-Sigma SS239
-Sigma SS219
-Sigma SS194
-Sigma SS266
-EcoTools Foundation Brush
-Disposable Mascara wand (used to style my brows)

To acheive this look I used the Palladio eyeshadow as a highlight under my brows, then I applied Mac's "Moleskin" all over my lid.  Next I added Mac's "Charcoal Brown" in my crease, focusing on the outer corner.  Finally I added a thin line of eyeliner, one coat of mascara and the false lashes.

Here is my outfit, hope you enjoy :)

I really like the look of tight jeans, a sleek ponytail and a loose fitting top.  The earrings, boots and makeup add glam to this otherwise "jeans and a t-shirt" look.  Small details make the difference!

Top: Bluenotes
Tank top (under the top, it is a bit sheer): Old Navy
Jeans: Bluenotes
Boots: I'm not sure... They were given to me as a gift a long time ago!!
Earrings: Spring

NOTD: Blue Fairydust

Hello everyone!  I was in the mood for a simple blue manicure, and of course I decided to add glitter!!  I love how this turned out :)

I had to apply three coats of the blue polish; it's a matte and was slightly streaky.  However it was worth it!! :) I really like this shade.  On my ring finger, I applied 5 coats of the glitter polish.

Here are the product I used:

From left to right:
-Sally Hansen Fire Opal Nail Glaze in "Wildfire Opal" (used as a base coat)

OOTD: Knit Sweater for Spring!!

Hey everyone!!  Today I'm just studying for exams again so my outfit is simple and casual.  I really enjoy knit garmets for spring, they are so easy to throw on and add an extra touch to a plain outfit!  Hope you enjoy!!

Knit sweater: Smart Set
Tank top: Garage
Jeans: Metro

My hair is in a simple bun because it's the quickest hairstyle to do during exam time!!

My bun from the back: I made a pony tail and tied it with an elastic, then wrapped my hair around it using another elastic.  Afterwards I just pulled it gently to make it wider, or else it looked pointy!! :)

Earring: Floral hoops from Avon

Nails: "Meet Me At Sunset" from Essie

Pop of Neon!

Hi everyone!! I'm really loving the neon trend for spring, so I figured I would give it a try!! Here is what I ended up with:

All I did was paint my nails with a white base, followed by two coats of neon polish.  Then I added  the rhinestones and top coat.

Here are the products I used:

From left to right: Love & Beauty in neon pink, Love & Beauty in neon yellow (these colors came from a set and don't have names), Orly French Tips in "White Tips", and Sally Hansen nailgrowth miracle in "Clear".

I purchased this rhinestone wheel on Ebay for a very good price!! The Tweezerman tweezers are from Sephora.

This last photo was taken without flash.  I can't stop looking at my nails!!  These are definitely eye catching!  :)

FOTD: Simplicity!

Hey everyone!! This is my super simple face of the day, which I have been wearing all month and will continue to wear until I'm done exams.  I'm a little stressed and couldn't be bothered to go into more detail in the morning.  I just want to get to campus as fast as possible!

This look is only seven quick steps: brows, eyeshadow, mascara, concealer,  foundation, powder, blush and go!!  I started by filling my brows with a brown eyeshadow and brushing it through them.  Then I applied a white highlight under my brow, and a brown eyeshadow all over my lid and crease.  I blended where the two colors met and that's it!  Next, I swipped two coats of mascara on my top lashes, and one coat on the bottom.  I followed by applying concealer under my eyes and on any blemishes, then applied a thin layer of foundation all over my face and my neck.  Finally I applied powder to set my foundation and a quick swipe of blush.

It's simple, yet not the simplest look out there.  It's still a full face routine.  It usually takes me 20 minutes, which is quick for me!! :)

Here are the products I used:

Starting from bottom left and moving clockwise: Mary Kay eyeshadow in "Lucky Penny", Cargo Lash Activator mascara in "Black", Elizabeth Arden The Red Door eyeshadow quad using the colors "Smoke" (top left) and "Moonbeam" (bottom left), Palladio concealer stick in "Ivory", Maybelline Expert Wear blush in "Berry Sorbet", Femme Couture Mineral Effects pressed makeup in "Fairly Light" and Mac Mineralize Satin Finish foundation in "NW20".

Brushes from left to right: brow brush from Sally Beauty, Sigma SS217 blending brush, NYX powder brush, Sigma SS252 flat shadow brush, Coastal Scents angle brush, Eco Tools flat shadow brush, and Coastal Scents foundation brush.
